INTERVIEW WITH VICTORIA ATKINSON:  OUR PARTNERSHIP DIRECTOR

1. Can you briefly introduce yourself and share a bit about your professional background?

I’m Victoria Atkinson—a mumpreneur with two little ones under the age of three (plus a dog!) and a passion for building community-driven businesses. Originally from Lithuania, I spent a significant part of my adult life in the UK before settling in Luxembourg, where I believe there’s no better place to grow a family and family friendly ventures. In Luxembourg, I began my career in the HR department of one of the EU institutions, later co-founded Unicorner Playcafé, and most recently launched Victoria Glow Coaching, where I empower women to break free from societal norms and confidently pursue their dreams with confidence.

2. What inspired you to join The Network and take on the role of Partnership Director?

I joined The Network because I truly believe in its mission—and I saw the value I could bring in helping it grow. I’ve always been drawn to creating connections and sparking collaboration, and stepping into this role felt like a natural next step. There’s so much potential to create impact through partnerships, and I’m excited to help amplify that.

3. What does the role of Partnership Director entail, and what are your main objectives for the coming year?

Over the coming year, I plan to launch a structured partnership framework guided by clear, measurable goals together with my dedicated team, to support the growth and visibility of The Network.

Our key strategic objectives include:

  • Sponsor Growth – Expanding both the number of corporate sponsors and the overall sponsorship revenue through clearly defined tiers and mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Member Conversion – Turning partner-driven visibility and activities into measurable membership growth, with a strong emphasis on relevance and shared values.
  • Partner Satisfaction – Monitoring partner return on investment through Net Promoter Scores (NPS), structured qualitative feedback, and regular performance reviews.
  • CSR Impact – Supporting meaningful engagement by encouraging volunteer hours, skills-based contributions, and shared success stories that align with our partners’ corporate social responsibility objectives.
  • Event Engagement – Designing high-value events—such as curated roundtables, networking sessions, and workshops—that drive attendance, active participation, and measurable outcomes for both members and partners.
  • Visibility Reach – Amplifying our brand and partner presence across digital platforms, newsletters, and events, while tracking growth in engagement, impressions, and audience reach.
  • Mentorship Opportunities – Facilitating cross-sector mentoring programs that promote professional development and deepen knowledge-sharing between partners and our member community.

With this framework in place, our partnerships strategy will not only support The Network’s growth but also ensure every collaboration delivers value, visibility, and impact for all stakeholders.

4. How do you see partnerships contributing to the growth and impact of The Network in Luxembourg?

Partnerships are at the core of The Network’s growth—we can’t grow our community, events, or impact without them. Whether it’s financial support, venue access, mentorship opportunities, shared audiences, or co-created content, partnerships allow us to bring diverse ideas and opportunities to the table—ultimately making The Network more vibrant, relevant, and accessible. The stronger our partnerships, the stronger our mission delivery.

5. What qualities do you look for in potential partners or collaborators?

I look for partners who align with The Network’s values and understand the importance of building community—especially those who recognise that we are a non-profit and rely on support to continue serving the Luxembourgish community. Whether that support is financial, logistical, or strategic, the best collaborators are those who see the bigger picture and want to contribute to meaningful, lasting change. In other words, I seek partners who are genuinely committed to female empowerment and want to be part of a purpose-driven mission, not just a marketing opportunity.

6. The Network’s mission is to help women thrive professionally and support one another. How do you see partnerships playing a role in advancing this mission?

Partnerships open doors—to knowledge, to inspiration, and to practical tools. Whether it’s through leadership events, wellness support, skill-building sessions, or networking platforms, the right collaborators help us expand what we can offer women at every stage of their journey. Together, we can accelerate change and create new possibilities.

7. Are there any specific initiatives or collaborations you’re particularly excited to pursue?

I’m excited about developing the “Women in Leadership” partnership series—spotlighting thought leaders and fostering cross-sector mentorship opportunities. I’m also looking forward to expanding wellness and lifestyle collaborations that reflect the full spectrum of women’s lives—not just their careers. Collaborating with like-minded local businesses to co-create member-exclusive experiences is another key focus. And importantly, I see great potential in building international partnerships that will significantly increase The Network’s visibility, growth, and open up new opportunities for our members across borders.

8. Finally, what message would you like to share with the members of The Network as you begin this new chapter?

This is your community—and its power lies in the connections we build together. If you have a partnership idea, a business to showcase, or a cause close to your heart, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s co-create opportunities that lift each other up and celebrate the brilliance of women within this network.
