The Expat Experience
March 2023
About 50 people came together to learn more about the "Expat Experience" at an event organised by The NETWORK, one of Luxembourg's oldest professional woman's associations, on Wednesday evening.
Speaking at this event, which took place at Amazon's offices in Luxembourg-Kirchberg, were Corinne Cahen, Luxembourg's Minister for Family Affairs and Integration, Luxembourg City Councillor Maria Eduarda De Macedo and Natalia Zdanowska, Research Associate at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER). The main topic of the evening was voting rights for non-Luxembourgers, who can now vote in the municipal (local) elections on Sunday 11 June 2023 regardless of how long they have lived in Luxembourg.

Discover your power!
February 2023
On Wednesday evening, Luxembourg-based international professional women's association The NETWORK held a personal development event called "Discover Your Power" at State Street in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
During this sold-out interactive event, Sophia Karlsson, business development and human experience management consultant at Luxembourg tech company Zortify, offered attendees (about 40 in total, most of whom were members of The NETWORK) an overview of different working styles and behaviours, according to the "DISC" personal assessment tool. Participants then learned how to build on their natural strengths, whilst becoming more self-aware (e.g. aware of any limitations and blind spots).

Wellness in the New Year
January 2023
Luxembourg-based international professional women's association The NETWORK kicked off the new year with an event dedicated to wellness at Yogaloft. Luxembourg in Strassen on Wednesday evening.
The NETWORK's President Mariana Florea introduced guests (members and non-members alike) to this interactive event, during which attendees grabbed a cushion and participated in various exercises. An avid yoga practitioner herself, Mariana emphasised the importance of posture, breathing and timing.
