Charity unveiled: La voix des survivant(e)s

Just as fine wine matures and evolves, your charitable contribution can age into a legacy of compassion, leaving a lasting imprint on those in need. As we savored the rich and complex flavors of each wine at the tasting event on September 20th at the Stronck-Pinnel winery in Greiveldange, we couldn't help but reflect on the profound complexity of the human experience.
Most recently, we were moved to the point where tears welled in our eyes as we witnessed the powerful testimonials shared by survivors of sexual, sexist, physical, or psychological violence as part of the "I’m Possible" campaign, launched by La Voix des Survivant(e)s association—a new charity our community at The Network has chosen to support, along with Think Pink, Dress for Success, and Femmes en détresse.

The wine tasting charity event is more than just wine appreciation; it is a journey of compassion and unity. With each sip, attendees embraced the idea that wine can symbolize the coming together of people, serving as a reminder that we are all part of a collective effort to bring about change.
At the heart of this event lied La Voix des Survivant(e)s, an association created in August 2022. This organization brings together survivors of sexual, sexist, physical, or psychological violence and is dedicated to breaking the taboos surrounding these topics. La Voix des Survivant(e)s extends a vital helping hand to isolated victims, guiding them toward professional resources and support. Moreover, the association actively engages in various legislative processes and participates in prevention efforts, such as workshops in local educational institutions. Their mission is clear: to give a voice to those who cannot speak and to create a society that stands against violence in all its forms.
Their campaign "I’m Possible" shares profoundly moving testimonials from survivors. The raw authenticity of their narratives left an indelible impact, evoking profound sympathy and heartfelt empathy. It was a stark reminder of the immense courage it takes to share such harrowing experiences, underscoring the urgency of our collective responsibility to
support and stand with survivors on their path to healing and justice. The Network association considers it a privilege to support this charity. We wholeheartedly support their mission and the vital work they do in breaking the taboos surrounding these crucial issues. As a multicultural organization promoting the development of professional women in Luxembourg, we believe in the power of collective action and solidarity. We hope that our community at The Network and our supporters will take a moment to explore the work of this incredible charity, La Voix des Survivant(e)s, and consider contributing to their cause, and help us make a meaningful difference in the lives of survivors in need.
