Registering as a member of The Network means that you will share your personal information with us. The data that you share helps us maintain our members’ list, collect statistics and enable members to increase their professional network by connecting with other members outside of meetings. We take the need for data protection seriously.
Who has access to the information you provide?
Your contact details (e.g. name, city, phone, e-mail, etc.) can only be accessed by The Network Board and our IT services provider. We also need to submit member information to the Registre de Commerce et des Sociétés (RCS)
Our IT service provider is contractually bound to respect the confidentiality of information as required under data protection regulations.
We do not disclose or sell your data to third parties.
We ask our members to follow strict guidelines when using data for networking purposes. Any misuse of the data (e.g. mass marketing to sell a product or a service, sharing member contact details with non-members, etc.) may result in immediate termination of your membership and legal consequences, if applicable.
How long will the data be stored?
We store your data for no longer than 6 months after your membership terminates.
The confidentiality and security requirements of Directive 95/46/EC apply when we handle your personal information. This Directive concerns the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.
